Thomas A. Plouffe-Broker

Tom started in the carnival business in 1985 when he & his
father Henry purchased a small New England Based show. They
operated it until the year 2000 when Tom made a career change
and was licensed as an insurance broker. He then concentrated in
Loss control & risk management until 2003 when Specialty
Insurance was formed.

Mikes roots are in the insurance industry having been employed
by Aetna Property & Casualty as a Loss Control Engineer. In 1980
Mike joined a CT fire department and has risen through the ranks
to captain. Mike also spent 15 years in the family carnival
business on a part time basis.

Henry’s roots are that of a banker for 28 years. He oversaw the
expansion of the bank from 1 office to 5 branches in an
executive position. Henry then purchased the family business
with Tom, managing the day to day operations of the company
